Our Mission
Bulverde Optimist Youth Basketball strives to provide girls and boys with a fun, competitive experience while learning the fundamentals of the game of basketball.
History
Our league started over 30 years ago. We began our first season playing at Bulverde Baptist Church with about 8 teams in one age division. The next year, we quickly grew to enough players to have two age divisions and almost double the number of teams. Over the years, we have tripled in size and also reduced in size as more options became available in our area. We are expanding again as families are desiring a competitive place to have their kids begin their basketball career. In the last two years, we have added online registration and our own Facebook page. We look forward to many more years of providing basketball to the community.
